The repressive Moroccan security forces continue to victimize the Sahrawi population under its occupation. The Sahrawi citizens Mr. Laaroussi Ahmed Mouloud LAMHIDI and Mr. Mahfoud Najem Elwali MAYA were detained on 29 December 2006 by members of the Moroccan forces, in civilian clothes, torturing them and subjecting them to violent interrogations. These two Sahrawi citizens were also threatened with execution and being set on fire. In addition, the Sahrawi citizen Mr. Sidi ELFAKROUI was also victim of a savage aggression by Moroccan policemen in civilian clothes on Tuesday 3 January 2007. Mr. Sidi ELFAKRAOUI still suffers from repercussions of the aggression to which he was subjected in 2005 when he was thrown from a building by the forces of the GUS.
