Three new Sahrawi political prisoners : 21 July 2006

Three new Sahrawi political prisoners were taken to the El-Ayoune civil prison (« black prison ») yesterday, Thursday July 20, 2006, around 16h GMT, on the orders of the examining magistrate of the city. The new Sahrawi prisoners are:
- DIDA Abdesalam, born in 1983, Prison N° 27478
- BAHAHA Mohamed Salem, born in 1985, Prison N° 27477
- Mouloud Mustapha “Mouloud Elhaj”, born in 1984, Prison N° 27476

Furthermore, in the past few days, and in response to recent demonstrations, the Moroccan occupational authorities have launched a new wave of repression in Smara, with numerous unjustified arrests and illegal seaches of homes.
