المحاكمة التي استؤنفت نهار اليوم غاب عنها المدعي والشهود ، ورفضت خلالها رئاسة الجلسة منح السراح المؤقت للمعتقلين

وقد مثًل المعتقلين في هيئة الدفاع المحامي نور الدين دليل.

Procès de la liberté de parole des deux étudiants sahraouis à Casablanca reporté

La Cour d’appel de Casablanca a reporté le verdict, concernant deux étudiants sahraouis Baba Ali Toumi et Abdullah Dihani à la semaine prochaine. Le procès, qui a repris aujourd’hui le jeudi 26.11.2009 manqué par le plaignant et des témoins duquel le président du procès a refusé d’accorder une libération provisoire des détenus. Les détenus ont été assistés par le maître Nour Eddin Dalil.

Free speech trial of two Western Saharan students in Morocco postponed

The Court of Appeal in Casablanca has postponed the verdict on two Saharawi students, Baba Ali Toumi and Abdellah Dihani to next week. The trial resumed today Thursday, 26 November 2009, in the absence of the complainant and witnesses, still the president of the court refused to grant provisional release of detainees.

Sa sœur Salka est arrêtée pour des raisons politiques liées à la situation de son frère. Elle a été soutenue par le Maître, AJLA Chawki, sa famille et un groupe des étudiants Sahraouis.

NY Bar Association blasts Morocco and Spain for Haidar’s expulsion

The Association of the Bar of the City of New York expresses its concern about the situation of Ms. Aminatou Haidar, Chairwoman of the Collectif des Défenseurs Sahraouis des Droits de l’Homme – CODESA (Collective of Sahrawi Human Rights Defenders) and a prominent human rights defender in Western Sahara. The Association is concerned about her safety and about the legality of her expulsion to Lanzarote (Spain). Given the serious nature of this matter, the Association respectfully urges you to take all necessary measures to ensure that Ms. Haidar can promptly return to Laayoune (Western Sahara) and rejoin her family.
