The five Sahrawi students arrested recently in the City University of Agadir and imprisoned in the local prison of Inezgane, appeared today, Wednesday May 30, 2007, before the court of first authority of Agadir. It condemned those students to two months of prison and a fine of 500 dhs.

We point out that these students were arrested on Thursday May 3, 2007; imprisoned in the local prison of Inezgane on Friday May 4, 2007; suffer from serious wounds following the confrontations which occurred at University IBNO ZOHR in Agadir; and are carrying out an unlimited hunger strike since May 8, 2007. These students are charged by the court for Agression, Injury and Incitation. We point out the Sahrawi students were assisted by a great number of lawyers.
