Brahim SABBAR and Ahmed SBAI in front of the court of El-Ayoune again

The two members of the ASVDH, Mr. Brahim SABBAR (upper left), secretary general, and Mr. Ahmed SBAI (upper right), member of the council of coordination, imprisoned in the Black Prison since June 17, 2006, will appear, on Monday July 9, 2007, before the court of first authority in El-Ayoune for attack againts the men of justice during a hearing. Mr. Abdessalam LOUMADI, Mr. Elhafed TOUBALI (lower left), Mr. Ahmed Salem AHMEIDAT and Mr. Mohamed Lehbib ELGASMI (lower right) will also appear for the same charge with the two members of the ASVDH. These charges rest on the fact that the defendants had stressed slogans at the time of an audience.
We point out that Mr. Brahim SABBAR was condemned to two years of prison during a first lawsuit in company of Mr. Ahmed Mahmoud HADDI, and to one year and half during a second lawsuit in company of Mr. Ahmed SBAI, whereas Mr. Abdessalam LOUMADI had been condemned to one year and half, and Mr. Elhafed TOUBALI, Mr. Ahmed Salem AHMEIDAT and Mr. Mohamed Lehbib ELGASMI had been condemned to three years of prison.
In the same way, the Court of Appeal in Rabat, before which appeared yesterday Monday July 3, 2007 the Sahrawi students imprisoned in Salé, deferred the lawsuit in call of these students to Tuesday July 10, 2007, whereas the Court of Appeal in Marrakech, before which appeared, yesterday Monday July 2, 2007, the Sahrawi students imprisoned in the local prison of the same city, deferred the lawsuit of these students to July 16, 2007.
In relation to the Sahrawi students arrested during last May, the Sahrawi students arrested in Agadir were released today Tuesday July 3, 2007 after having purged their 3 months sorrow each one. The ASVDH gives its best wishes to those students and reiterates its engagement to fight for the release of all the Sahrawi political prisoners, among them its two members, Mr. Brahim SABBAR et Mr. Ahmed SBAI.
